Types of Projects
RCC Construction has over twenty years of experience in commercial, industrial & metal building projects. Shown below are just a handful of the dozens of projects that we've successfully completed. We have extensive experience with not only metal building projects but structural steel, wood framed and masonry buildings as well.
Weld Community Credit Union, Greeley, CO
Weld Community Credit Union, Greeley, CO
RCC Construction completed this project as a design-build general contractor. The project required extensive coordination with the architect, engineers and the owner to ensure a smooth, high quality but functional office space. The project consisted of a 2,600 SF single story addition and remodel of the office areas and the break-room of the existing building. The addition includes a new employee break-room, conference room, privacy offices, marketing office and CEO's office. Improvements to the existing storm-water detention pond, parking lot and landscaping were also included. A whole building natural gas backup generator and surge protection system were installed with the addition.
Wild West Motor Sports, Greeley, CO
The project included a 6,000 SF motorcycle sales and service building addition, a 6,000 SF drive out basement for storage, a new vestibule, an enclosed breezeway and a new entryway into the existing building. The new addition matches the existing building's roof facade, stucco, wall accents and exterior metal panels in order to comply with the local development codes. The exterior finishes were selected for durability and low maintenance. The new addition has an occupancy separation fire wall with a fusible linked roll-up fire door to allow access between the new addition, the breezeway and the existing building.
RCC Construction completed the project as a Construction Manager. We were able to layout the site to maximize parking, plan for future expansion of the business and use the site's natural grade to allow vehicle access to the basement. A new exterior patio area allows for seasonal entertainment with panoramic views of the surrounding business park and the Colorado Rocky Mountains. The building showroom has exposed metal building rafters, black vinyl insulation and galvanized spiral HVAC ductwork which gives the interior a unique industrial look to fit the Owner's business image.

Metal Buildings
Whether you need a warehouse, shop, manufacturing facility or an office, a pre-engineered metal building system offers the best overall value. RCC Construction has partnered with American Buildings Company (ABC) to provide high quality metal building systems and components for our metal building projects. We offer you over 18 years of experience with ABC buildings which gives you a metal building expert for your next project.
REH Footwear Metal Building Addition
REH Footwear project was a 2,983 S.F. warehouse and office building addition to an existing CMU block retail building. RCC Construction completed the project as a Construction Manager. We were able to design a project that maximized the size of the building addition for their site which had several limitations that included overhead power lines, underground utilities and maintaining access for neighboring properties.
A unique feature of this project is that the concrete floor steps down in three places to align with the existing exterior grades/site drainage while allowing vehicle access to both ends of the building. The building has stucco wall accents and roof façades in order to comply with the local development codes. All exterior finishes were selected for durability, low maintenance and to compliment the existing building.

Retail Buildings
Maplewood Estates Retail Center, Eaton, CO
The project consisted of a 65’ X 272’ (17,680 S.F.) single story, core and shell, retail building. A unique feature of the building are the two towers that create the architect's vision of two distinctive ends to the retail center. The blending of stone, masonry, E.I.F.S. and wood accents on the exterior of the building give the project a “higher end” retail look that set the standard for the surrounding development. The unfinished, open bay concept of the building accommodated the future tenant’s specific needs without substantial rework or additional up-front costs. The building's electrical service was also modularized to allow some
flexibility for future tenant requirements.
flexibility for future tenant requirements.
Oil & Gas Facilities
High Plains Disposal Injection Well Facility, Kersey, CO
The project consisted of two identical facilities, one at Kersey, CO and one at Platteville, CO, that were completed using Construction Management as the project delivery method. The project included over 25 acres of site work: 1/2 mile of gravel road, two concrete dump pads, two concrete secondary containment pads for the storage tanks and two concrete pits for processing the saline water. Both sites required a 45’X65’ metal building system which housed the injection well facility’s pumps and control center. A custom 15’8” X 65’ modular office and break room building was designed and moved onto a concrete foundation at each site.
Restaurants
Hobnobber Tavern, Greeley, CO
The building has a total footprint of 4,514 S.F. of which Hobnobber occupied 2,438 S.F. The Owners wanted the warmth and charm of a turn-of-the-century English Pub. The most unique feature of the building is the use of Lyptus® hardwood for the exterior accented by imported granite at the base of the exterior walls. The use of stained glass at several locations on the side and front entryway further heighten the appeal of this one-of-a-kind structure. Liberal use of hardwoods within the structure and a bar built by
Wallace and Hinz complete the theme on the interior. The uniqueness of the Hobnobber Tavern project demanded attention to detail and solid communications.

Veterinary, Animal Care & Agricultural
Happy Trails Pet Spa & Resort, Loveland, CO
Attention to detail on the Happy Trails Pet Spa & Resort resulted in a one of a kind building that is based upon a Roy Rogers theme. The building is a 7,060 S.F. masonry and wood framed building with a 240 S.F. loft and a 915 S.F. basement. The building has a log sided and masonry exterior which enhances the western theme of the business. The interior of the building is every bit as attractive as the exterior with stained concrete floors with radiant heat and extensive use of “Beetle Kill Pine” wood trim which encourages use of our natural resources in a responsible way.
Green Construction
Pawnee Buttes Seed Office, Greeley, CO
Pawnee Buttes Seed outgrew their existing facility and wanted an office building that would support their existing operations and allow for future growth. The design-build process developed a functional layout that reflected the Owners philosophy of a healthy living environment and good environmental stewardship. The construction materials used in the building met the Owner's environmental concerns and remained within the project budget.
The project consisted of a 3,330 SF wood framed office building with an unfinished full sized basement. Exterior building materials that were durable, cost effective and low maintenance were used to support the Owner' sustainable wishes.

Additions
Wild West Motor Sports Addition, Greeley, CO
When Wild West Motor Sports outgrew their existing warehouse they turned to RCC Construction to add on to their existing facility. The 2,300 square foot metal building addition matched the existing building's stucco roof façade, stucco wall accents and exterior metal panels. The new addition required a foundation wall that incorporated a retaining wall because of the existing grade. The addition also included a fire separation wall with fire access door into the existing building and high efficiency lighting to comply with the International Energy Conservation Code.
Site-work
High Plains Disposal, Platteville, CO
Over 25 acres of site-work was coordinated which included site grading, construction of a gravel access road, asphalt paving, construction of turn lanes and improvements to county roads, installation of a water well and septic system, drainage protection systems and site lighting for the High Plains Disposal oil and gas waste water project East of Platteville, CO.
Metal Roofing
RCC Construction offers a variety of retrofit & new metal roofing solutions to meet your specific business needs.
For the Windsor Automation project we installed a new metal roof system over their existing metal building roof which was damaged by a severe hail storm. This system used galvanized sub-girts that were attached to the existing metal building roof purlins. Then we installed 2" of fiberglass insulation between the existing roof sheets and the new roof sheets to improve energy efficiency and limit the potential for noise & vibrations during high winds. The new roof system was completed by installing new galvanized metal roof panels and custom designed trim. RCC Construction coordinated the work with the tenants of the building and completed the project without damage to the existing building despite several rain and snow challenges.
